Self-guided tours of the historic Delta Queen are available for most parts of the vessel. Quite often, past passengers are on board working to help preserve the fine details of the boat. They are very happy to take guests on tours throughout the Pilot House, the crew quarters, and the engine room. When these treasured guests are on board, you may hear the historic sounds of the steam whistle and the original calliope resounding throughout the North Shore.
The historic sounds of the Delta Queen’s steam whistle and the original calliope can be enjoyed on most weekends (seasonal).
Enjoy beautiful views of the Tennessee River and Coolidge Park from the festive atmosphere in the Texas Lounge. The lounge opens Sunday – Thursday at 4pm and at 12 noon on Friday and Saturday. The lounge features live music on most weekends, and the Bow-B-Que offers fresh grilled favorites, such as lobster tails and thick cut steaks.
